triyoga unite to create a special sanctuary on Sat 24th 18.30 – 22.30
This Saturday 24th June, triyoga invite you to support all those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire that occurred in London 14th June, by hosting a charity event at their Camden centre. The evening will be filled with love through powerful practices of chanting, prayer and meditation.
At this special event, Jonathan Sattin will open the evening, giving everyone a pleasant welcome to the night. Nikki Slade will then lead a kirtan session – a practice of call and response chanting that can cultivate connection and ease troubled minds. Next, leading Kundalini yoga teacher Carolyn Cowan will teach the Body Prayer which helps land fear and anxiety. Devotional singing duo Illumina will follow, using both guitar and voices to help reconnect to the stillness inside. The evening will close with triyoga teacher Yogi helping us shift perceptions to create a sense of safety with a calm meditation.
triyoga emphasises how necessary it is to unite and create a space that is warm and safe while nurturing the relations between our community during the chaos and tension that has been happening around the world.
Ticket price – £10 and all proceeds will be donated to a local charity that are helping those who have lost possessions, homes as well as loved ones in the awful Grenfell Tower block blaze. Donations will also be kindly accepted.
