The first time I stepped on a yoga mat was in 2012. I have never felt so powerful and aware in one hour. I practised twice a week and before I knew it my practice was evolving of the mat and into my life.
Over the years I realised that my dharma was to help others achieve the same wellness I have been so grateful to find. I took my first yoga teacher training in 2014 and graduated with a 200 hr registration with Yoga Alliance, and the following week I began my 300 hr training. I am now a 500 hr RYT.
My classes are a synergy of connection, energy and empowerment, with a focus on alignment and space for inquiry. The philosophy of my teaching is to bring people into their own beautiful movement capabilities and cultivate personal growth. My passion to uplift, inspire and nurture radiates through mindful articulation of practice.
My approach to teaching is rooted in authenticity and my gift is to work with any level practitioner. In my classes I combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration. I seek to help others thrive by nurturing mind, body, and soul with yoga, and my hope is that students leave the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
I decided in April 2016 to open a yoga studio in Baltimore, MD and on August 19th, 2016 Revolution Yoga was born. My intention was to create a safe space for the community to grow, to evolve. A place where everyone can connect to their true north, their highest self, to be empowered and to heal. I believe that showing up and being present, truly present, opens the pathway to internal peace. I am forever a student, forever a teacher and forever grateful.
